About The Club

The Florida West Coast Avian Society: a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, is a bird club and parrot & exotic bird rescue.

Meeting Information: The Club meets in Sarasota, Florida, on the second Thursday of every month, at 7:00 p.m., in the the meeting room at Animals by Nature, on the corner of 12th. Street and Mango Avenue (12th. St. between East St. and Lime Ave, just east of the railroad tracks). Plenty of parking available.

Meetings can be educational for pet bird owners and enthusiasts, as well as breeders, by providing a forum to exchange information and experiences in a casual and friendly atmosphere.

Guests are invited to attend two meetings before joining the club.

Board meetings are held on the third Thursday of each month at 7:00 p.m. at varying locations.
